Sweetheart? Yes? Thank you! I never thought that in this hotel in Appiano we would see so much nature and enchanting places. These super-lakes! Lake Monticolo is my favourite. And yours? Lake Caldaro. That vanilla ice cream there... it's fantastic. And the walk along the wine road was also the top. And by the way... The highlight is right in front of our front door: the outdoor swimming pool in the hotel garden! And that castle we reached by foot. What was it called? ...

Right in the middle of all this there are Lake Caldaro and Lake Monticolo. Intense green and deep blue. Right in the middle of the vineyards, mountain bike trails, broad-leaved and multi-leaved forests and hiking trails. Sun and alpine panorama included.

Those who love hiking in the South Tyrolean Oltradige should definitely visit the castles along the road. Some offer a snack of bacon and drinks, others will enchant you with the magnificent view from the panoramic tower. The same can be said of the culture along the wine route. For example the Messner Mountain Museum - definitely worth a visit!
